Homeless Pit Bull Boulder and Tony

On June 4th 2011 Tamara Nolan from California Bully Crew did a Petco adoption event and while there met Tony, a homeless man sitting in the parking lot. Tony has a beloved pit bull dog named Boulder that he loves very much. All Tony and Boulder have is each other in this world and because of this their bond is extremely strong. Sadly, Boulder has a tumor growing on his stomach and Tony has no money to bring him to the vet.

Tamara immediately let Tony know that she could help and have Boulder seen by her/California Bully Crew’s vet and get a discount as long as when they brought Boulder in he was listed as one of her rescue dogs. Tamara went straight to work on FB through her California Bully Crew page  to raise money.

Audie Whidden - Stole from homeless pit bull

Meanwhile unbeknownst to Tamara a man named Audie Whidden created a chipin on Facebook and raised $339 under the guise of collecting money for homeless pit bull Boulder to be seen by California Bully Crew’s vet. Well now he refuses to turn the money over to the vet.

Tamara and others who are legitimately working to help Boulder have made numerous attempts to contact Audie Whidden but to no avail. He does not respond to them and instead goes from rescue page, to rescue page, day after day bad mouthing California Bully Crew. It has been five days and he has not released the funds to the vet. Tamara has reported him to paypal and to FB but to no avail. She is also filing a police report.

CALL TO ACTION: BSL News is begging everyone to PLEASE help Boulder be seen by the Arrowhead Animal Hospital AND to contact Audie Whidden.
