Let Shayla’s smile warm your heart.

Meet Shayla, the prettiest girl in Brooklyn, possibly the world. This stunning little girl is heaven sent and she is up for adoption. Shayla is only 1 ½ years old so she has plenty of living to do and has plenty of love to give.

She is an energetic and extremely friendly young girl. Shayla loves playing with kids, adults and other dogs.  She is tolerant of cats but they are not her favorite.

When we went to meet Shayla and her foster family we didn’t even need to look at the numbers on the houses. We spotted this beautiful girl from all the way down the block. There she sat on the porch with a bunch of kids and her foster dad just relaxing and playing on a Sunday afternoon. Shayla greeted us at the gate and welcomed us in. She insisted on a lot of rubs and gave plenty of kisses. She was so excited to meet us she kept hopping up and down. We were hysterical and immediately in love. She definitely has personality plus and the family that adopts this polka dotted pretty pittie will be lucky indeed.

Shayla’s foster family took her in because she was being given away for free. They were scared that if she fell into the wrong hands she would be abused, fought, bred or killed. They did right by Shayla but now they can no longer take care of her. Shayla may not have a horrifying story or be in danger of being killed tomorrow but this doesn’t make her any less worthy of being adopted or helped by the rescue community.
